Lea Lidia Lavitola primarily focuses on commercial, corporate and financial law, assisting Italian and international clients, including in cross-border transactions. Her main areas of expertise include investment transactions, club deals, M&A, private equity and turnaround operations.
She has developed significant experience in advising listed companies, particularly in the areas of corporate governance, related-party transactions and disclosure obligations. She also assists leading companies in a number of corporate finance transactions, including loans, bond issuances, debt restructurings and other financial arrangements.
Prior to joining FIVERS, she worked with a leading Italian law firm, advising on capital markets and structured finance transactions. In 2015, she obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She lives and works between Milan and Vienna.
She currently serves as a board member of a company listed on the Euronext Milan market. She has also held the positions of Lead Independent Director, Chair of the Nomination, Human Resources and Remuneration Committee, and member of the Control and Risk, Related-Party Transactions and Sustainability Committees of the same company.
In addition, she has served as a statutory auditor of an asset management company (SGR).
