Partner at Fivers, Edoardo Bassi began his professional career in 2009 at leading Italian tax and law firms.
He joined Fivers in 2021 and advises Italian and international multinational groups, private equity and real estate funds, industrial companies, financial institutions and insurance companies on tax matters, with a particular focus on corporate and international tax, extraordinary transactions, corporate reorganisations, and real estate and financial taxation.
He has developed solid experience in M&A and private equity transactions, including asset and share deals, as well as in the tax structuring of investments and the ongoing tax assistance of multinational groups and institutional investors, covering transfer pricing, tax planning and tax litigation matters.
He serves as Statutory Auditor of leading industrial and financial companies. He is the author of publications on tax law and regularly speaks at specialist conferences and seminars. Member of technical committees of the Milan Chartered Accountants Association and the International Fiscal Association (IFA).
