26th Annual U.S. and Europe Tax Practice Trends Conference

We are pleased to share that Francesco Mantegazza, Managing Partner of FIVERS, will speak at the upcoming IBA / ABA Annual U.S. and Europe Tax Practice Trends Conference in the session “Don’t Lose Your Losses: An Update on NOL Planning”.

Chaired by Nita Asher and Francesco Capitta, the panel will examine recent developments and practical planning considerations relating to the use and preservation of net operating losses (NOLs) in cross-border structures. The discussion will cover key issues such as limitations on loss utilization, ownership changes, group relief regimes, and the impact of reorganizations and M&A transactions across major jurisdictions.

The session will also address emerging anti-abuse rules and the interaction between domestic NOL regimes and international tax reforms.
